September 13th, 2014: Bill’s High School Class Celebrates 70th Birthdays at N85
Over 40 members from the Del Val class of ’61 celebrated a group 70th birthday at Alexandria Field. Music from Charlie Kutz, lots of food, and sharing of memories was had by all!

On Thursday, July 31st, the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Group hosted an event entitled Prosperity in the Sky at Alexandria Airport. Skydive Jersey and Alexandria Field Inc. welcomed a group of approximately 100 people. Event activities included: sponsorship tabletop displays, skydiving and airplane rides. Food and drink were available thanks to the Pattenburg House and Jersey Mike’s Subs. It was deemed a success by all, providing a unique social networking opportunity for Chamber members. ...

Alexandria Field was honored to be the first general aviation airport in New Jersey to participate in the expanded State Aviation Conference format. The Central Jersey Aviation Education Science Club based at Alexandria Field presented on both days of the conference showcasing their year-long STEM projects. read moreJanuary 18, 2014: Past N85 flight school student, Blake Schuette scores big at flying competition
Blake started her flying at N85 as a summer aviation camper at age 10. She is now Captain of the Auburn University War Eagle Flying Team. On October 29-Nov. 2 the team participated in the SAFECON Region IX Competition where Blake nearly won the Top Pilot Award, finishing second , and was the regional’s top-scoring female. Once Teeny got her W.A.S.P. wings at Avenger Field, Sweetwater, Tx, she was stationed at Moore AAFB, Alamogordo AAFB, and Kingman, AZ, AAFB. She flew the PT17, BT13, AT6, UC-78 (Bamboo Bomber-Twin Trainer), B26 and it’s variants, Stinson L5 and then a month of flying the B17 as second pilot and then 1st Pilot. She towed aerial targets for gunnery practice and flew the heavy’s to train navigators and bombardiers.
